Do I need to provide a deposit?
Yes. A $1,000 deposit is frozen on your credit card at pick-up and released immediately after returning the car without damages. However, depending on your bank, it may take up to 7 days to reflect back in your account.

As a way to support tourism from nationals and travelers from CA-4 countries (Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Guatemala), we may charge only a $500 deposit if the driver qualifies and has no record of car accidents or alcohol-related fines on their driver's license.
What are the age and license requirements?
Minimum driver age is 25 years. Maximum age is 80 years. A valid driver's license is required at pick-up.
Can I add an additional driver?
Yes. One additional driver can be added free of charge if registered at pick-up.
Are there mileage limits?
No. Unlimited mileage is included with all rentals.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and online payments through our website.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Flex Rate allows free cancellation 24 hours before pick-up.
Pay Now Rate allows cancellation 24+ hours before pick-up with a $100 penalty.
Refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days.
What insurance options are available?
Basic Third-Party Liability (TPL) Insurance is included free. We also offer an optional Premium Insurance (Collision Damage Waiver - CDW) to cover damage to the rental car. The Premium Insurance cost depends on the type of vehicle rented.
Where can I pick up and return the car?
Pick-up and return options:

- Roatán Airport (Free delivery)
- Dreams Ferry or Galaxy Wave Ferry (Free delivery; $10 fee if picking up the car at the ferry)
- Dolphin Plaza Office
- Hotel or local delivery (West End, West Bay, French Harbour) for a $10 fee per trip ($20 round-trip)

Note: We do not deliver vehicles to the East side of the island.
What happens if I return the car late?
- Up to 2 hours late: $20 fee.
- More than 2 hours: Full extra rental day charged.
- Over 24 hours: Vehicle may be reported missing.
Do I need to return the car with a full tank?
Yes. Fuel level must match pick-up level. Otherwise, refueling fees apply based on market price plus a $10 service fee.
Can I drive anywhere on Roatán?
Only on paved roads. Driving on beaches, sand, shorelines, or unauthorized off-road areas is prohibited and will result in a minimum $500 fine.
What happens if the car is damaged?
With Premium Insurance (CDW): Maximum liability is $1,500.
Without Premium Insurance: Renter is fully responsible for all damages.
Can I smoke inside the vehicle?
No. All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking. A cleaning fee will apply if smoking is detected inside the vehicle.
Can I travel with pets?
Pets are allowed only with prior approval. The vehicle must be returned clean and free of pet hair to avoid additional cleaning fees.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled return time to request an extension. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be confirmed by our staff.
